Every day 10 families are told their child has cancer. CLIC Sargent is the only charity that offers them all round care and support. Readathon has been going for more than 25 years and in that time has raised nearly £22 million for charity. At present Readathon works with two wonderful organisations: CLIC Sargent and The Roald Dahl Foundation. CLIC Sargent (reg. charity no. 1107328 in England and Wales and SC039857 in Scotland) supports children and young people with cancer. The Roald Dahl Foundation (reg. charity in England and Wales no. 1004230) spend their money offering practical assistance to the families of children and young people with serious blood or brain condition. Readathon (reg charity in England and Wales no. 1130309) supports children's literacy and reading through their Readathon Campaign. The charities all ensure that money raised in Scotland and Northern Ireland benefits children in those areas.
