When you read it’s incredible, it opens your mind and you discover things – NOTHING TO BEAT IT

Every Y7 pupil has participated, rising to the challenge of reading more than they would usually, and often different types of texts by authors they were not familiar with, all with the aim of enhancing their reading skills. Pupils who weren’t sponsored with money still joined in with real enthusiasm and commitment to their reading, so there was plenty to be gained all round.
