How the Book Trade Supports Readathon

The book trade loves Readathon!  Many of them want to help us encourage children to read for pleasure and generously support our programme.

Our partnership with Scholastic Book Clubs enables us to offer free books for your school worth 20% of your total sponsorship money, chosen from their vast and constantly updated stock of discounted books from 50 different publishers. They have something for everyone, from the hungriest bookworms to the most reluctant readers. To find out more about Scholastic Book Clubs call 0845 603 9091 or visit www.clubs.scholastic.co.uk.

Publishers & other organisations

We also enjoy support from many publishers and other organisations in the book trade who sponsor some of our resource pack materials.  Their help reduces our costs and ensures more of your sponsorship money goes to help seriously ill children.  We are always open to discussion about opportunities to sponsor Readathon's work so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have some ideas.
